European mill month May

After having consulted various mill associations, the month of May was proclaimed European mill month in the year 2012. The aim of this European mill month is to take yearly initiatives aimed at highlighting old historic windmills and water mills in the spotlight.

France started its Mills Days back in 2002. Ten years later, this initiative gained a European dimension.
